Check Licensing and Insurance

Ensure that your contractor is licensed in your home state, this information can be found in your state’s registrar of contractors website, for the state of Arizona that website can be found here. 

It is also imperative to check the contractor license bond. These are legal contracts that bind the contractor to the agreed work to be completed. The bond covers the costs of repairing damages if the contractor isn’t licensed or produces a poorly constructed work.

Know What You Are Paying For
